Home from Iceland

I’m finally home from Iceland. Did I mention I liked Iceland?

My wife Tracy flew over and met up with us for the last whole day of the trip and we, along with some friends, stayed in Reykjavik for a few extra days. On one of those days we arranged a day trip to the south coast. We were able to photograph the Skógafoss waterfall, the Vík area, and puffins. Lots of puffins.

Below are a few images from that day.

  1. Nice Pictures Rod. I’m glad you managed to eventually find the Puffins. Skógafoss looks impressive. I’ll get there one day although it’s a long drive. Jerry (from sunny UK)

  2. Thanks Jerry,
Skogafoss and Vík aren’t all that far from Seljalandsfoss, the waterfall we photographed the day we went up to Þórsmörk, crossing the river on that lovely road.
It was about a 2 to 2 1/2 hour drive from Reykjavík
