Unfortunately, I don’t get out shooting as much as I’d really like to. What with the fact that I don’t do a lot of photographing at workshops and all the doggy walks I’m committed to when at home, I’m just not making the needed time. So my selection of favorites is rather limited. One of these, the night shot from Arches National Park, is included simply because it was a successful first attempt at stacking star trails. Plus it was a fun night.
Another image, the Maidenhair fern, is a blending of two shots to achieve the area of focus I wanted but couldn’t achieve with just one shot. Plus Maidenhair ferns are just about my favorite ferns. There is also a focus blending of Pinot noir grapes – Pinot noir, enough said.
I’ve included an HDR image from the Palouse that I really like as well. I’m not really into all that much HDR surreality, and this is an obvious HDR image, but I still really like it.
Rounding it out I’ve got several images from the Columbia Gorge, Willamette Valley Wineries, Olympic National Park, the Palouse, and a flower shot from Colorado taken with my Canon G11.
